I've just bought a 7800DXL to replace my BT Homehub5 and I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to what settings I should apply when I plug it in for the first time

Are on a FTTC (Fibre) or ADSL connection??

The UK quick start guide should point you in the right direction, make sure you have your broadband username and password at hand (which is needed to configure the device) I think it might be bthomehub@btbroadband.com
