hi all
I'm currently using the 7800DXL for sky ADSL connection (it uses a poppa connection) everything working fine apart form WIFI
The good problem i have is someone has given me an Asus RT-AC68U which i would like to use as my new router due to faster WIFI.
i want to carry on using the 7800DXl for the sky adsl connection MODEM ONLY and i believe i need to change the 7800 into bridge mode
I've looked all though the forum but can find a guide on how to do this, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Cheers

See attached screen shot, on how to change the ATM interface (ADSL Interface) to 'Bridging Mode'
You can then setup your RT-AC68U with a PPPOE Ethernet connection (I am not sure if Sky ADSL support PPPOE, you will have to test this, as some users can only use PPPOA with Sky DSL)

Hi
Thanks for your help.
Where do i put the sky username and password etc?
Do i still have the pppoa0 interface running also in the WAN section?
Or as its bridged to i input the username and pass into the Asus router?
Thanks in advance

You don't need a PPPOA interface within the Billion router anymore
You put your sky username and password in the Asus router PPPOE mode is only option when using 'Ethernet/EWAN' mode
