8800axl wifi

My 8800axl is running the stock out-of-the-box firmware at the moment (planning to upgrade to the latest soon).

I have a couple of problems with wifi though;

1. Wifi clients are not able to access some internal resources running on wired clients on the LAN. Doesn't matter if it's 2.4 or 5Ghz. For example, I run RDP on my Windows server. On my previous 7800N, I could RDP from my Android phone to the server with no problem. On the 8800axl, I can't connect. Same for another server I run as well. Clients just won't connect. A network scan from the Android wifi clients shows it's actually hardly seeing any LAN resources. Just a couple of addresses and nothing else. I can confirm that client isolation mode is NOT enabled.

2. There seems to be some odd lag accessing Internet resources over wifi. I'd have expected rapid speeds on my FTTC connection, but pulling up a web page on my Nexus 5 in Chrome, there's a pause of about 10s before the page loads. This is using either 2.4 or 5Ghz. May be related to the problem above, but not sure.

The 7800N that I used to have did NOT have these issues. Everything was pretty smooth, but limited to 802.11n and I had to rely on the BT VHDSL modem, which wasn't great.

Get the firmware upgraded to 2.32e, there is plenty of fixes within the firmware that might help (firmware link viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3896)
