8800NL Help

Hi all i am new to the forum form east ayrshire scotland.
I hope someone can answer this problem,my new billion arrived the other day i tried to set it up,no luck.
After connecting the cables as normal,the problem is when it powers up the red power light comes on then goes green as it should.
But after just a few seconds it goes back to red again & i can,t obviously configure it,i have tried the reset button with no luck,can you help. :( :o :shock:

I think i will just send it back & get a different make altogether :lol:

You can try a emergency recovery

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold the reset button
3. While holding the reset button turn on the device
4. Wait for the power light to turn red
5. Connect a PC to the 8800, with a static IP in the range of 192.168.1.100, subnet 255.255.255.0
6. Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.254
7. You will prompted with a emergency recovery page, download the attached firmware, and upgrade your device
8. Wait for around 10 minutes for the process to complete
9. Check to see if the power light has turned back to green.

I don,t have a static ip,i have tried the reset button & it doeas nothing.

I have returned the router to the Amazon seller,i might look at other makes now. :shock: :)
