How does a HomeHub 5 compare to a 7800N

Hi all,
I have recently moved home and have taken up BTs Infinity offering and they have given me a free Home Hub 5.
Now I am wondering if I should use the HomeHub 5 as the main modem / router and reuse my 7800N as an Access Point or if I should I use the 7800N as the main modem / router (as I have an Openreach modem as well) and then use the HH 5 as an AP.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how a 7800N compares to HH5?
I do need have additional IPs and port forwarding etc so those features are important to me.
cheers
