I recently upgraded to bt infinity FTTC and i wanted to use my 8800NL instead of the homehub 5 but cannot get past the wan interface/service setup screen on quick start. I had heard that the 8800nl would keep working without any intervention from me when my service changed but unfortunately that hasn't been the case. When i click the continue button on the wan service screen i get the 'Please wait...' message for a couple of minutes then it tells me the it has failed. Both the DSL light and the internet light are lit on the front of the device (only after doing a factory reset).
I can get specific settings if needed, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

Re: WAN Fail message when configuring 8800NL with BT FTTC
did you select 'PTM (VDSL)' , rather than 'ATM(ADSL)' on the first config page?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
