8800NL interface grouping broken

This has caught me out a couple of times now.
If you set up a guest network (or multiple guest networks) and assign them to their own groups, when you disable them then re-enable them, they go back into the default group and therefore have access to the main network. There is no way to get them back into their original group as there is no edit function.
This problem was reported with a 7800 series back in 2013 and nothing seems to have been done to fix it.
Rather annoying as my stepson has had access to the main house network and no time restricted internet access from when I last disabled his connection due to bad behaviour .........
