I've just connected both laptops to the 8800 wifi (one 2.4 and the other 5G), and I can ping devices that are wifi connected, but not LAN based.
x.121 is the other laptop, x.30 is one of my NAS servers.

If you connect back to you repeater I assume you can ping 192.168.1.30? I assume you haven't setup any Group Isolation (found under LAN)
