I have changed my NETGEAR router for the 7800N and now I cant see my NAS devices at addt=ress 192.168.0.10.
I found DHCP server configuration setting as 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.99 but if I change to 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.0.99 it wont allow.
So what to do please?

Having done a search and read through this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255999 I think you have to change the Subnet mask as well to correspond to that DHCP range, but under System Tip at the top of the article, may not apply to Win 7 (?) which is what I'm using but hope the article will be of help.

Try changing the DHCP range to 192.168.0.1 ~ 192.168.0.99 and make sure the router is set to 192.168.0.254

Thanks

That was my first thought until I read the article (unless I'd misread it) but just as a matter of interest, how do you change the router's login address

OK, thanks for the advice.
I changed the router address to 192.168.0.254 and the DHCP automatically changed to 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.254 and that enabled me to see all my network devices, TV NAS etc.
I am not sure why but it works, a description of the various router settings and their implications would be good somewhere on this board. The handbook only tells you how to set the various options and not whether its necessary or the implications.
I will now read the article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255999.
Thanks again for the help.
