I am using my 7800N with the latest beta firmware to access sky fibre.

Is it possible to change the DNS?

I have tried to see if there is an improvement in the time it takes to show a web page every time I make a change it reverts to what it was originally.

Is it not possible in this beta firmware?

You can make the change via "Advanced >> Configuration >> WAN >> WAN Profile.

Untick the "Obtain DNS Automatic " and enter your DNS info eg 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Click on 'Edit/Delete' to apply the change.

Then save the config to flash memory and restart with current settings.

I am sure I did that but will try again.

I can now see where I went wrong.

I clicked on add rather than edit / delete.

All done now.
