Status DHCP list forgets list

Post by madhatter »

Hi all, im on current firmware 1.06g for my 7800N. However i have noticed that if i goto status DHCP table there are no computers listed. (everything on my network works fine and get a ip etc. Also upnp table shows ip's and forwarding etc).

If i reboot my router it starts showing the DHCP list again then a while later shows nothing. If i then reboot again they reappear.

2 to 3 days. In fact just checked and it looks like the router has restarted itself. Says uptime 1 hour 47. DHCP clients listed now. You want the logs. This is a replacement router from yourselves had it for about 2 weeks.

I had the same problem with mine when I used anything other than the default DHCP lease time (24 hours is fine, but 48 hours causes this issue after a couple of days...)

This was on 1.06g firmware

After reporting the issue to our engineers they have asked if a users can provide us with the following

1. How long does it take for the issue to occur
2. Is all devices lost from the DHCP table
3. How many devices are connected via DHCP
4. We need 2 copies of the system log, one copy of the system log when the DHCP table is showing (you may need to reboot the router), and another when the DHCP table is blank.

Once I have all the information in one place from 1 or 2 users so we can compare I will send the deta over to our engineers for further investigation.

You can either drop me a PM or submit a ticket on the following link with your answers and two copies of the system log
