Cisco VPN Connection Broken by 1.06g Firmware

Hi,
I used to be able to connect to my work's Cisco VPN using Cisco Anyconnect v2.5 on Win7 x64.
Then I had to reflash the Billion 7800N router firmware after it failed to get a DSL connection, so the firmware got upgraded from 1.06b (I think) to the latest 1.06g. Broadband is now back up and fully working, but when I try to get a Cisco VPN connection, it connects then drops almost immediately. In the Cisco Event log I see these warning messages:
Automatic correction of the routing table has failed. Notifying higher levels of the routing change notification for possible further corrective action.
Reconnecting due to an IP forwarding table modification
There are lots of other messages in the log, but these seem to re-occur & look to be the source of the issue.
I also have a virtual server that has the Cisco Anyconnect client installed and it also is having this issue, so its not confined to the software on my PC, which is what made me think it was something to do with the Billion change.
I am reluctant at present to hunt around to find an older Billion firmware and try that, since I don't want to lose my DSL connection.
So is anyone else managing to use Cisco VPN via Billion 7800N 1.06g or have any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this issue?
