Sony Bravia wireless dongle
Has anyone out there managed to get their Sony Bravia to connect to the Billion 7800? I can connect all other wireless devices via the Billion 7800 apart from the Sony Bravia TV.

Try setting a static IP to the TV in the following range
IP address - 192.168.1.200
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.254
DNS Server Primary - 8.8.8.8
DNS Server Secondary - 8.8.4.4

I tried this and it still doesn't work. I have also tried assigning a static IP to the TV but this doesn't work either.

What firmware are you on??mylesjj wrote:I tried this and it still doesn't work. I have also tried assigning a static IP to the TV but this doesn't work either.
Have you tried a wired connection from the 7800N to your TV?? So we isolate if the issue is with the wireless connection or with both the LAN connections and the wireless connection.

Re: Sony Bravia wireless dongle
Are you using the official Sony USB adapter & is it the correct one for your TV?
If the answer to both is yes then I'd try connecting the adapter to your PC & see if you can connect to the router then, assuming you can find drivers for it.
