Using the 7800N as an AP ?

Hi,
I have the Sky SR101 router connected to my master socket, and all is well. Until, I move into another room in the house, so,
I have a BiPAC 7800N which I used with another ISP before I went over to Sky Broadband Unlimited.
I have been trying to use the 7800N as an AP in the other room, but I cannot get it to connect.
Before I go mad, is it possible to do this, or is the 7800N not compatible ?
Any help on settings would be very welcome.
I also have a pair of 500Mb powerline adapters available if this will help out in my situation.
Regards,
Paul
