I bought the 7800N because my service providers router had a regular habit of locking up, requiring a power off/on to clear it. I bought the 7800 to alleviate this problem having read in the specification that it should resets itself under these situations, but recently it froze and I suspected it was my service providers fault, but after a couple of hours I decided to switch the router off/on , this cured the problem and the connection was immediately re-made.
Anybody any ideas or similar problem?

Try settings your WAN Protocol to PPPOE and the encap method to LLC/SNAP
