Hi,
since owning the 8800AXL, I find that when using policy based routing to route certain things via USB (4G) then more rules i add and the more features I try and use.... failover etc the router seems to struggle... processing power? Memory?
I realise I might be using more power user features than most .... but are the 8900's more powerful than the 8800's and 7800's?
I have bad broadband, so trying to use 2 ADSL 2+ lines and and LTE
Thanks
8900 more powerful than 8800?

Re: 8900 more powerful than 8800?
I also would be interested to know if the 8900 series has more processing resources then the 8800 series. Also do the 8900ax-2400 and 8900ax-1600 have the same processing power. I have ordered a 8900ax-1600 from Amazon as they are currently do not list the 8900ax-2400 and I just want to ensure that only difference is the Wifi speed.

CPU = BCM 63168
FLASH = 16MB
RAM = 256MB
8900AX-1600
CPU = BCM 63168
FLASH = 16MB
RAM = 256MB
8900AX-2400
CPU = BCM 63168
FLASH = 32MB
RAM = 256MB
The main difference between the 8800 and 8900 is the 8900 series has VPN features, casing (rack mountable) and external antenna's.
The Bipac 8900AX-2400 also has more flash memory.
