7800 as HH3 replacement

Hello

Lots have posted about replacing the HH3 with the 7800 - I am a novice & tried plugging the openreach 'red' connector to the EWAN socket of the Billion.

However the prior posts speak of changing the Billion settings but I still get the HH3 Gateway settings!

Could anyone let me have an idiots guide as to how to use the 7800 with the openreach modem?

Just connect the cable from the modem to the ewan port. Then configure the connection wan interface to ewan. WAN profile --Connection type ppoe and the details below.

PPPoE
Account Name bthomehub@btbroadband.com
one blank space (tap spacebar!) for password.

Configure the wireless side as you wish.

Thats it.
