G.DMT mode sync higher that 8192 kbps

After setting my 7800N so it will connect in G.DMT mode only (to BT 21CN) it somehow manages to sync higher than what I thought was possible on ADSL1:
Retrain Reason: 1
Max: Upstream rate = 1232 Kbps, Downstream rate = 10528 Kbps
Channel: INTR, Upstream rate = 1056 Kbps, Downstream rate = 9696 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: G.DMT
TPS-TC: ATM Mode
Trellis: ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
is this even possbile??
If I set it to ADSL2 it will not sync that high!
Could the D.GMT and ADSL2 options be swapped around (when it says G.DMT it actually means ADSL2)?
