According to the Features & Specifications.. on this page: http://www.billion.uk.com/product/wireless/7800n.htm it says it has "Ethernet: 4-port 10/100/1000M"
I have a Gigabit Lan card connected to the 7800n via a CAT6 cable but I cannot get any more than 100Mbps.
Why is this?
I am currently using Firmware version 1.06g. I have tried 1.06h and will not be installing it again due to a very irritating bug.

I had the same problem initially. What colour is the light on the front of the router corresponding to the port the cable is in? If it's green then it is dishing out gigabit, if it's yellow then it isn't. Also try the basic tests - try all other ports on the router with the same cable to see if it's working in any of them. Also of course try a different cable. In my case it was showing a yellow light and a change of cable fixed it despite it being a relatively new but untested Cat6.
