7800N and Apple Mac Issue?

Just purchased a 7800N to connect to Sky from my Mac network. Managed to configure everything OK and connected to Sky no problem with the latest 1.06h firmware, but it appears that the router is causing major instability on my iMac with spinning beachball of death pretty much all the time. This even occurs if I disconnect Ethernet and connect over wireless instead. If I switch back to my old Sky Hub (Sagem 2504N) everything returns to normal. Anyone experienced anything similar or able to shed any light on this?

I've disabaled IPV6 on the 7800N and on the iMac and all now appears stable.

Spoke too soon. Tried 1.06g firmware as well and still the same issue. Think this will have to go back......

No problems here with BT Infinity using the latest iMac, have you tried setting the router back to factory defaults?

I'm running two 7800N routers, one on a public network and one linked to it via EWan on a private network, I use a mixture of Mac's, Mac G5, Mac Pro, iMac, iPad and 2 iPhones together with a [spit] PeeCee and an Intel laptop .... I've never had any problem with the routers with any version of OS that I've got in operation. The WAN router is set for no DHCP with a block of fixed IP's, the LAN router is using a mixture of fixed IP's & DHCP.

I can only speak as I find, for me the 7800N's were the best choice I ever made for my system.

Sent back this particular unit and got an exchange, the second unit performed flawlessly so must have been a hardware issue on the first unit. Great support from the UK support team.
