OpenVPN Option missing

Post by AManCalledBob » Wed Jan 08, 2020 9:51 pm

Hi,

I'm looking to configure OpenVPN on my router, however the menu option is missing. I see options for IPSec, VPN Account, Exceptional Rule Group, PPTP, L2TP and GRE but no OpenVPN.

Model Name : BiPAC 8900AX2400
Software Version: 2.52.d36

Am I missing something?

Hi, In the interest of sharing... My ISP had a custom version of the router software, so I was unable to update to the latest version. I spoke to them and they got the latest version, applied their settings, and have had the firmware updated. I now have the OpenVPN options available.

I assume you are with the ISP Callflow, they have custom firmware which is locked so you are unable to use normal UK firmware.

Callflow now have the latest firmware with Open VPN, if anyone else is also wondering. :D
