Hello,
How do I configure the 5th ethernet port (the red one EWAN)? And if configured is it a gigabit ethernet like the other 4?
Cheers,
Rick.

If you want to use it as a fifth Ethernet port, then you don't need to do anythingricke17 wrote:Hello,

If you want to use it as a EWAN port, then you must configure a WAN service interface for a 'Ethernet' connection. (Screen shot example attached)
The EWAN/Fifth Ethernet should run at 1000mbps (gigalan)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Great,
Incidentally, page 17 of the online manual (https://au.billion.com/downloads/userma ... M-1-04.pdf) purports that a switch should be (I guess if one uses one) should be used on ethernet 4 - does this mean no further switches should be used or does ethernet 4 do anything "jazzy"!?
Rick.

Its the same as a standard port, the manual refers to a example network topology (meaning you can plug your switch to any of the 4 Ethernet ports)ricke17 wrote:Great,
