I have upgraded my 8800NL to 2.32e a few weeks ago and can confirm that I no longer have WiFi ping spikes.

Sill getting the spikes here using 2.32e... until the wireless is switched off.

Factory reset performed, but loaded the settings from a profile that was created just before the upgrade.

Try resetting the device again, just configure the WAN settings (so you have internet) and see if the spikes occur, if they don't occur, continue to manually reconfigure your device7800n_user wrote:Hi...

Just an update... I'm still experiencing the spikes every ~2.5 hours.
I re-flashed the 8800NL with 2.32e with factory settings and the only adjustments I made (manually) were to the admin password (first tall spike), and later the SSID (second spike) and wireless password/encryption type to AES+TKIP (third spike).

I got in touch with Billion support last week regarding this, but haven't heard any reply.
What sort of timescale do they normally operate at?

I have been testing our VDSL line here, for the last week or so, I only get spikes every 12 hours or so.
Let me report my finding to our engineers and see what they suggest.
