That's only got a link to 2.32e, which is the one I'm trying to go back from.

No the link is to firmware 2.32d.dh65 for both models, you should see a post by me, with 2 firmware attached

Yah mine is going down as well, mine was stable at 68mb now down to 60mb and dropping every time I reboot which has only been 4 times in last 2 weeks.
Line is stable and its just this firmware. G.IMP is not enabled.
Going to put my Hub 5 B back on and see if it gets back to 68mb
Something seems to be a bit wrong with the coding on this version.

Same problem here, flashed my 8800AXL to 2.32e firmware and lost a meg in upload speed, flashed back to 2.32d.dh65 and regained the lost meg back. So somethings amiss with the 2.32e firmware.

I have an issue with my downstream SNR dropping by ~3dB since upgrading to 2.32e, not sure if it's coincidence though.

Put my BT Hub 5 Model B back on tonight and speed jumped fro 60mb to 64.6 . so Something wrong with that firmware or router. Shame as I only bought it for Fibre a couple of months ago, and its now back in its box.
At the rate it was gong down I would be back to 8mb in 2 months time. Now I have to wait for the DLM to put my back s it dropped that as well. Up until all the changes I was getting constance 68mb.

Very disappointed with the AXL8800 alot of money for something not as good as free BT Hub !!

Now have to wait for the next 6 months until they find out what the problem is and fix it hopefully

Can you confirm firmware 2.32d.dh65 sync's at the normal speed, (i suggest you wait for a couple of days then if possible test the older firmware)

I did put the old firmware back on to it a couple of weeks ago and yes it did go back up by over 2 mb but still not as good as the hub 5 b which also has a Broadcom chip set.
but this latest firmware has some other issues look at the double dip in the graphs

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest ... 5059634893

Now with hub 5
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest ... 1529824368

This was the same over a number of tests.
Now have to wait for the DLM to go back as its gone down to 61mb from above +65mb since the new firmware.
Any way I will leave it off for a few weeks and wait for my line to recover before trying any more testing.
Bit disappointing as I always used to think Billion were the best now. will have to revise my thoughts.
Billion should be at least as good if not better that a Hub 5, or what's the point in buying one? :?

Thanks for the update, at moment you are the only reporting sync issues regarding the downstream value, when compared with the BT home hub 5, I would like to compare the DSL stats from both devices to see what the difference is

Also I am wondering if the issue is related to the incorrect Attainable Rate issue, which has been reported and is getting investigated.

I've been running 2.32e on my 8800axl for a couple of weeks now. It's been stable (no reboots required), but I did also notice some change in sync speeds. While I saw an INCREASE in downstream from 54Mb/s to 60Mb/s, I saw a drop in upstream from about 20Mb/s to 16Mb/s. Not a dealbreaker, but a surprise. 5G wifi seems more stable, with better speeds though.

Here's my DSL stats
