Udating Firmware

Post by Valkeram »

I have a new 8800AXL that I have set up on Plusnet and has been running OK for a few days.
On day one I omitted to update to the latest firmware, (I know, I know ...)
However, to update I seem to have two choices, update to factory setting or update to present settings. I always prefer a factory reset..
Can I update the firmwares to factory settings and then reload a backup of the previous settings?
I would hate to have to go through all the wireless and LAN setup again.

So users have been fine with updating the firmware and restoring the config, but if you run into any issue, you will need to reset the unit back to factory defaults and manually reconfigure it
