Settings Backup for Plusnet

Post by GoatBlower »

Greetings,

I see there are some bits of info out there on setting up Plusnet but I was wondering if anyone has posted a complete setup file for the 8800NL
Minus the username and password of course
Or if that is possible?

Hope that makes sense?

Regards

Attached is a link to the quick start guide
download/file.php?id=513 (page 11 step 2.3)

Of for a manual configuration follow the step below

1. Reset unit back to factory default settings
2. Login to the device on http://192.168.1.254
3. Use the username 'admin' and password 'admin' to login
4. Click on 'Configuration >> WAN >> WAN Service'
5. Edit the 'PTM >> PPPOE' connection
6. Enter your PlusNet username and password in the section provided
7. Click on 'Apply'
8. Click on 'Status >> WAN' to see if you have active IPv4 address or check the front of the router to see if the internet LED has turned 'Green'
