VPN access from iPhone

Ok,

So i think ive tried every single possible combination of the settings on both the 7800n and iphone but it just wont connect....

I can connect to other public VPNs like VPNVIP just fine,
I can connect when im on the inside of my home network
But cannot connect from a any remote location - doesn't matter if its wifi or 3g (havent tried with any other device)

What am i missing here?

Couldn't get it to work on mine until I set the port forward I had for 1723 which I had pointing to a PC to disabled so if you've already got that one set might be worth disabling and trying.

Yes! not the manual port map, but there was a ghost upnp entry for 1723. Now working!

Although now ive hit the DNS issue that affected the android and cant open a web page back out to the internet....did you manage to fix that too?

Nah, not fixed that . Peeps say to set your iOS device as "Send all traffic" to Off in the VPN Settings which works but kinda defeats purpose I suppose.
