Hi,
I have setting up the out bound IP filter and it seems strange they that I have to set the IP range and Port range.
Normally I set the following on most firewalls:
Example of blocking SMTP:
Source IP : Any, Any
Source Port: Any
Dest IP: Any, Any
Dest Port: 25
But it seems that the key word "Any", "*", "0.0.0.0" or "*.*.*.*" doesn't work. So I have had to do the following:
Source IP:192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.254
Source Port: 1-65535
Dest IP: 1.1.1.1 - 254.254.254.254
Dest Port: 25
If I don't do that I get "Source IP Address: Invalid".
Firmware: 2.32e
7800 NXL
Am I missing something? I have never had to set a rule like this in a firewall before.
Kind Regards.

Try following the attached screen shots (I have two exmaples there, one without a pre-defined IP range (any) and one with a pre-defined IP range)Shintaro wrote:Hi,
