Spoof Mac ADSL

Hi

Ive got myself a 7800N and was wondering how i can spoof my MAC addr to prevent connection delay on O2 (Be) ADSL2+ broadband

Just thought I would share this; I managed to change the MAC using firmware 1.06e and the following hidden page;

http://192.168.1.254/mac.html

To get there I first logged into the router using the usual method & then edited the address as above.

Applied the change, the router reset/rebooted with the new MAC.

Hi StormC, i am also with o2. Can you explain the connection delay? also did you just make up the new mac address?
