Bipac 8800NL : SNR Tweak

Post by headrat »

Hi,

First off I'm new to this whole thing so I apologies in advance as I'm sure this has all been asked 100 times before.

These are my current stats from my 8800NL

xDSL

Mode VDSL2
Traffic Type PTM
Status Up
Link Power State L0

Downstream Upstream
Line Coding (Trellis) On On
SNR Margin (dB) 6.2 15.5
Attenuation (dB) 16.0 0.0
Output Power (dBm) 12.9 7.3
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 74150 26021

Rate (Kbps) 73598 19999

B (# of bytes in Mux Data Frame) 243 237
M (# of Mux Data Frames in an RS codeword) 1 1
T (# of Mux Data Frames in an OH sub-frame) 0 42
R (# of redundancy bytes in the RS codeword) 10 16
S (# of data symbols over which the RS code word spans) 0.1056 0.3781
L (# of bits transmitted in each data symbol) 19248 5374
D (interleaver depth) 8 1
I (interleaver block size in bytes) 254 127
N (RS codeword size) 254 254
Delay (msec) 0 0
INP (DMT symbol) 49.00 0.00

OH Frames 0 0
OH Frame Errors 0 277
RS Words 2683586984 3323700
RS Correctable Errors 68005 2580
RS Uncorrectable Errors 0 0

HEC Errors 0 0
OCD Errors 0 0
LCD Errors 0 0
Total Cells 3621026664 0
Data Cells 1438626730 0
Bit Errors 0 0

Total ES 0 252
Total SES 0 0
Total UAS 30 30

Is there any mileage in me tweaking my "target SNR margin"?

Thanks

You can't tweak the SNR when on a VDSL connection
