I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, and I would like to use my 8800 as a time server.
The router is already set up to synchronise with various internet time servers, but when I try to set up Windows to use the 8800 on 192.168.1.254 as its time server, it fails.
Any suggestions?

Re: Use as Time Server
I remember I had a Netgear DG834GT with the DGTEAM firmware and this had the time server function which I found useful for syncing a lot of devices to the same time on a LAN. It's unlikely that Billion will add this feature, but it could be done.

Ahhh! DGTEAM takes me down memory lane.
This firmware was the only way, at the time, to squeeze a few more Kb/s from ADSL lines.
Happy days when 6Mb/s downloads were the dog's balloons
