is it possible to enable IPv6 on the local network?
my ISP isn't IPv6 (yet), but i'd quite like to have IPv6 on the local network (alongside IPv4).

I don't think you can, this is normally tied to your ISP providing a IPv6 address (as when using IPv6 you don't use NAT)

ok i came home and tested this as you said.
dis-abled then re-enabled hid SSID. rebooted router
guest wifi visible, main wifi not visible.

however, all my devices that had the main wifi already saved could no longer connect.
i had to remove the saved wifi network and then manually re-add it, even though the SSID and password remained the same.

Reply sent via support ticket, you can had remove the profile and create a new one that specifies to connect to the SSID even if it is not broadcasting.

yeah that's what i did, but windows 10 still seems to be a little picky about connecting to it automatically.

If other devices are fine, it might be a windows 10 issue, trying turning off/disabling "Turn on fast startup" if you have issues of connecting to the network after booting up

Try following the attached screen shot (this example is for the upstream rule, follow the same steps to setup a downstream rule also)

i've set it up for 40% downstream (WAN to LAN), so i'll test it tonight using speedtest.
my DSL connections is around 14Mbps (1.7MB/s), so i'll run a speedtest and see what it comes out at.

didn't seem to work, tested on both wifi networks and got the full 100% available bandwidth on both.
