Hi there,
I've just restarted my Billion BiPAC 8800AXL to see if it would clear the upstream G.INP counters, but it didn't. So, would I have to reset the router to factory settings in order to clear these or is it just a bug in the 2.32e.dh4 firmware?
Thanks,
William

We can only support what is within the web gui, telnet access is only used for engineer purposes only.Grimers wrote:Hi there,

You can try a reset (make a backup of your config first, reset, check the counters again, and if needed restore your config file)

Oh, whoops. Sorry, I didn't realise that I wasn't allowed to access the telnet interface. Thanks for the advice.

Well you can still access the telnet interface, its just that we can only support what's within the web guiGrimers wrote:Oh, whoops. Sorry, I didn't realise that I wasn't allowed to access the telnet interface. Thanks for the advice.

Is that because the telnet interface is somewhat buggy? I reset it to factory settings and reloaded the config but the same stats were still there. Guess I'll just have to ignore it for now.

No as when making some changes, via sh, it won't save (if the device is rebooted), hence the telnet feature is for engineering/debugging purposes onlyGrimers wrote:Is that because the telnet interface is somewhat buggy?
