Wireless not working
I finally managed to get my 7800N connecting to SKY but now my wireless is not coming up. Not sure if it is related.
I have set all the settings in the WLAN section but there is no light on the Wireless WPS on the front of the unit, it does occasionally flash green for a milli second or so.
Not sure why it has stopped working, it was OK before I installed SKY.

When I look in the config page it is green with a tick to indicate it is working, but there is no wireless on the front panel and nothing is transmitting.
Settings look to me to be the same as previously used. See attached for setting details.
Do we think the router is broken?????

Made some changes to the wireless settings and had wireless for about 5 seconds, then off again.

This is either a huge coincidence or something linked to the 1.06g.dc1 beta firmware, as I had exactly the same issue, I actually had to send it back to Billion who replaced the unit as the wireless radio was deemed faulty (in all credit to them they turned round the RMA in a single day and I had it back the day after they recieved it).
Seems a bit too much of a coincidence to not be connected to the update to the 1.06g.dc1 firmware, but then again maybe I am wrong.
But it may be worth noting I did intially try and set the client ID on the EWAN profile page (and found the router was not saving my input), before using the basic mode, and then found the wireless not to be working... seems you followed the same steps and resulted in the same issue...
May be worth raising this directly with Billion Support by raising a ticket, explain the exact steps you have taken over the past 24/48 hrs, as I believe those steps may be leading to this issue.
If you want to try something before taking this step, then try resetting the router to factory defaults and just try connecting to the wireless on the default set-up (wp-lan is the name of the access point, no password), and see if you can connect, if not, sorry to say you may have a faulty wireless radio now.

As feared, my wireless had died. Sent it back to Billion and the replacement is on it's way. I have a saved working SKY config so jsut need to load the DC1 firmware and restore my config and should be good to go

Got my new router back from Billion, loaded the SKY settings and it worked first time, brilliant.
Many thanks Billion for great customer support.
Only thing I do notice is that the WAN light is orange and I was expecting it to be green, apart from that all is fine and so much better quality.
My IP phone kept cutting out with the SKY router but is fine with the Billion, although I might try and set up QoS later.

While I don't know what you get with Sky, with ADSL an orange light indicates a max rate of 150 as you would get on a laptop with a mini N NIC and green indicates the full 300 as you would get on a pc with Gigabit, so I would query that with Billion tech support unless billion_fan or someone else has another explanation.

There is no WAN light on the router?? Do you mean LAN light? or EWAN light?
