Does anyone know if an API exists for the 8900AX2400 router that returns the current connection state or configuration data? I'm looking for for an HTTP or HTTPS URL which will provide either text or JSON response. Any form of documentation would be great.
I want to use this in conjunction with a Vera control unit to determine the current state of my internet connection and then trigger an action, in this case to power cycle the router in an attempt to restore the connection. If the connection restoration fails I can have a text message requesting manual intervention.

why not log in via telnet and parse the result of adsl info --stats
