I'm looking at the 8900ax-2400 and 8900ax-1600 r2.
my requirements are this:
usb file sharing which supports ntfs drives.
samba v3 or better, due to win 10 update.
media sharing so TV can see video files.
VDSL2.
gigabit switch ports minimum 4.
I don't need 5ghz wifi as I only use 2.4ghz.
do the above routers do this? also what chipsets are they running?
need new vdsl modem router. with usb filesharing

Anyone?
I’d like to know if it can access ntfs and what sort of write speed?

The device will support 'NTFS' but the speeds will be slow as the USB port is USB 2. (and the router providing this function will slow down the read/write speeds)
Access via your TV might be tricky as our samba server needs a username and password entered to access the HD, which on a TV might not work.
