Re: NEW Bipac 8800AXLR2/8800NLR2 2.52.d12
Hi, I have an 8800AXL R2 running 2.52.d10, which doesn't experience the reboot issues mentioned by other users. Is there any benefit/point in me upgrading to this new firmware?
Cheers,
Nigel

There haven't been any added features within this firmware, so if your device is fine at the moment, I would stay on 2.52.d10 (you always upgrade later if needed)

Just had a complete lockup of my 8800axl R2. This morning , I noticed that there was no internet connection on my phone, so cursed, and waited for the usual resync, but it never happened. I fired up my laptop, to discover that I couldn't get to the router's webpage, couldn't SSH into the modem, but it was responding to pings. During this, the lights on the modem gave all indications that all was well, with the DSL, and internet leds showing activity. I had to power cycle it to recover.
I'm starting to lose faith in this modem, having been with Billion for many years!
PS: My syslog is full of these, about 10 pages worth!

Our engineers are requesting a full copy of your system log, showing the logs before and after (you will need a syslog server setup to perform this)billion_fan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 9:59 amLet me check with our engineersevansnp wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 9:22 am Just had a complete lockup of my 8800axl R2.
