Can I use my 7800N as a router for tethered internet?

I want to use my router to share a tethered internet connection via my iMac without using the ADSL at all. I would use the "share my internet" option from the Mac to connect to the 7800N via WiFi or ethernet. Using it purely as a router therefore.

Make sense?

This link may help you, the guide is for a setup with a xbox, but you can replace the xbox with the 7800N in EWAN static IP mode.
