Hi, I have the billion bipac 7800n router. I updated the firmware to 1.09g I think it is but could not connect after that.
So I put the 1.09e firmware back on it but still having problems. I have extracted the username and password and pasted them on, but no luck.
I telephoned billion and was told that there was only a specific firmware that works with sky. I think I had 1.09e on it last time or could it have been 1.06f which I no longer have if this is the case.
Anyone know what firmware works with sky. I'm on an ask connection not Mer.
All my settings are identical from before. I did eventually connect from a wired connection but could not connect wirelessly. I might have pressed the button at the back which I think turns off the wireless signal if pressed for more than 5 seconds.
Any help please?
What firmware for sky?

Not sure where you got 1.09g from but the latest is 1.06g , nothing very special about this firmware for Sky ADSL but you do need to extract the username & password from your Sky router which you say you've done.
