USB / hard drive problems

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone could possibly help.

Have recently purchased a Biopic 8800AXL R2 and wanted to plug in a fat 32 formatted drive to access some files and films locally on the home internet, but the drive doesn't show up either on my Mac or windows machine.
Have followed all the instruction but still no luck.

Are you able to see your HD within the router web gui once plugged in?? (Configuration >> USB >> Storage Device Info)

Also Login to the router, click on 'Configuration >> USB >> DLNA' and tick the enable box for the 'On-board digital media server' and click on 'Apply'

Finally try and access your HD as shown on the screen capture below, use the routers admin username and password to access the route of HD
