- Log into the router and update the firmware to the latest version (1.06h for me)
- Restart the 7800N with the factory default settings
- Login to the router again and leave it in 'Basic' view
- Click on 'WAN' on the left hand side column
- Change the 'Main Port' to 'EWAN'
- Change the 'Protocol' to 'PPPOE', then enter your TalkTalk Business username and password, leave everthing else as default
- Click 'Apply' - the router will save and reboot
- While it's rebooting, connect the LAN1 port from the Openreach modem to the 'EWAN' port on the 7800N
- When it restarts, give it a minute to connect

Billion 7800N on TalkTalk Business FTTC
I've just spent two days trying to get my Billion 7800N to work on my new TalkTalk Business fibre connection, so I thought I'd post what worked for me in case anyone else is having similar problems. Big thanks to Billion's technical support for sorting this out with me!
