Hi,
I got the modem a long time ago, and there hasn't been any speed issues until recently, where I have had 0.5mb/s most nights. It's been a while since I genned up on the modem, how do I find out my Snr Margin please. I currently have a snr tweak set to 50 as a trial, as it's what I remember from months back...there are my stats...is my Snr margin the downstream one, 6.1?
DSP Firmware Version A2pB025f.d22k
DMT Status No Defect
Operational Mode G.DMT
Upstream 448
Downstream 7424
SNR Margin(Upstream) 19.0
SNR Margin(Downstream) 6.1
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 23.0
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 41.0
thanks..
Mark.

I just punched in 25 into the tweak, and I got these figures...is this an improvement? Many thanks.

Re: Finding out Snr margin..
It's marginally better but with your type of connection it won't make any practical difference.
Personally I wouldn't bother trying to tweak it as your speed is controlled by BT's profiling system.
And yes the SNR you're concerned with is the downstream one.
