Wifi extender problems billion 7800

Post by pyme69 »

Hi

I have had a billion 7800 router for a number of years now with no problems. I wanted to extend the range out into the garden where it just fell short so bought a tp link wifi extender. I synced it up ok and it connected, but only for about 5 minutes before the tp extender disconnected, and then needed resetting. Furthermore, if I now switch it on I cannot connect to the billion.

I know it's the router as I had an identical issue with an airport express. Please help as its driving me and the missus mad.

Thanks
