Just wanted to praise the UK Billion support team following their brilliant response to wifi issues.
We have a few-month old BiPac 7800N running f/w 1.06h which started to have a major issue with WiFi dropping out every few minutes.
When connected, all would be fine... however, WiFi would drop for all devices with connectivity interrupted and obviously causing problems for any ongoing downloads / uploads or streaming.
Contacted Billion, who initially asked me to return the router to have them replace the WiFi card to see if that fixed the problem.
First class service here - posted the router off on Saturday; Billion confirmed receipt on Monday morning, and had it repaired & shipped back to me by Wednesday. Worked great for a week or so, and then the problem reoccured.
Contacted Billion support again yesterday (Friday 14th), and this time they immediately agreed to send out an advance replacement router - shipping me a new 7800N for delivery earlier this morning (Saturday). So far, it's working well - and the faulty one goes back in a pre-paid bag next week.
First class service. Shame I've had to use it, but full marks to the Billion support team.
