Query on 7800n

Post by jjaycee »

Have just received and installed my 7800n. I notice that the DSL light is a pale green compared to the other lights which are bright green.
Please confirm this is normal.
I also notice that the Wireless light flashes when I am the only one using broadband and I am asking if this is also normal as I personally am connected by ethernet cable. I was wondering if I am connected via wireless and not ethernet. My previous router/modem would only flash when my wife was using the wireless connection upstairs on her laptop.

Yes, my DSL light is exactly the same and the router continuously broadcasts wireless whether you are using it or not, but you can check if anyone else is using your connection by logging into the router and navigate Advanced - Status - DHCP Table and check for any Host Names that shouldn't be on there.
