URL Time scheduling

Post by cpb4375 »

Hello,
I'm running a small office network on my 7800n. I wish to restrict a number of domains during office hours, i.e from 9am until 12pm (midday), then allowed from 12:01 until 14:00, then restricted from 14:01 until 17:30.

I've consulted the manual, and there aren't any instructions for how to do this. Has anyone got a guide or step by step instructions please?

You can try and use the "Domains Filtering'' found under 'Firewall >> URL Filter >> Domains Filtering'

But you can only add one time slot to this function eg edit the time slot, add a time you want the domains blocked, and the days and then add this Time Schedule to the URL Filter

So you might have to block all users between 9am to 17:30pm

Ok, it doesn't look like that this router is equipped to do what I wanted to do re filtering. Is there a way to change the default message?

I.e;
Attempt to Accept Pages Blocked by Url Filtering Control!!!!

You have tried to access the web site that is not allowed by the Url Filtering Control.

To access the website, please login the router and change the Url Filter configuration under the Firewall.
