Try the following

1. Open command prompt
2. Type 'telnet 192.168.1.254'
3. Type in your username and password, the characters won't show for your password for secuirty reasons
4. Then type 'adsl info --stats'
5. You should then see a list of CRC,HEC errors etc

If you are using Win 7 - Telnet isn't enabled by default and to enable it, go Start - type windows features and click on Turn Windows features on or off.

When they've loaded scroll down to and check Telnet Client - OK.

This Kitz article will explain what each error represents and clicking on Stats - Errors in the left pane will get you page two with further explanations if you need them. http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/linestats_explanation.htm

From that article you will see that when D = 1 / 1 - that denotes a Fastpath profile as are in your "Logs in Billion", but your ADSL Settings gives the Latency type as Interleaved and for that, you would normally expect to see D = 16 / 4 which can be increased by the DLM when needed, to stabilise the connection. http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/interleaving.htm

Have you asked BT to put you on Fastpath to reduce your Latency (ping) for gaming ?

SNRMs usually drop in the evening but it could also point to problems on the line, which a line test would pick up.

Best bet would be to contact BT about the discrepancy in the Interleaved/Fastpath settings and ask if they would run a line test.

inSSIDer will show if you are getting any interference from other local users and changing channels to give the best Link Score may also help with the SNRM if you are experiencing lag because of it. http://www.techspot.com/downloads/5936-inssider.html
