Hi
7800DX running 2.32d
I have multiple devices running on the wireless including a new MACbook Pro. It has a static IP Address and can get out to the internet.
Pinging and traceroute etc all seem to work fine.. BUT
Apps like TeamViewer, SkyPE, AppStore fail to connect or upgrade correctly.
As soon as I disable the wireless and connect via ethernet they work and upgrade fine.
This week TeamViewer has failed to connect to any site via Wireless, using ethernet it's fine.
I've tried the exact same IP Address, Subnet, Gateway & DNS Settings in the Wifi and Ethernet.
Wifi seems to have random issues, but ethernet is fine.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Re: Wireless Routing Issues
Try setting your MAC to obtain a IP address from the DHCP, then setup the MAC's MAC address with the static lease list, and set a IP address outside the DHCP range
So Skype won't connect via wireless, also team viewer?
Also is the MAC running off the guest network??

Re: Wireless Routing Issues
Also I just tested my DX with win 8 laptop on the 2.4ghz band, and team viewer worked without any issues (I accessed another device on separate network/WAN)
This was using the EWAN connection (I don't think that is related) also tried with a fixed IP and via DHCP all working

Re: Wireless Routing Issues
Hi
Thanks for the reply.
SkyPE works but fails to upgrade.
TeamViewer won't authenticate !
As soon as I use Ethernet they both work fine.
Wireless IP Address is statically set on the MAC. Both apps work fine with my previous router when connected via Wifi.
I don't use the DHCP server on the router, I have one on another network device and it only gives out 1 address for my Chromecast.
Thanks

Well tested here and all seems fine, can you post a ticket for me here http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/inde ... ets/Submit and send me a backup of your config file with the password set to 'admin' I will load your settings here and test team viewer on my win 8 laptop connected to the 2.4g bandMadTomT wrote:Hi
