I'm on Sky broadband through migrating from O2 on their purchase, using the 7800N to connect.
All of a sudden this morning, I lost BB connection with no DSL and internet lights showing, but the power, ethernet and wireless lights are ok and blinking away. Rebooting it made on difference. Sky checks suggest that the line is ok, since as soon as I plugged in a spare router on their suggestion (the connections settings were not set for Sky at this time) they said they could see the ports coming back up and concluded that the first router was faulty.
I've since put the Sky connection settings in the spare router and the line eventually came back up, but still no dice with the Billion. The spare router does not do QoS like the Billion and not as stable.
I've lost the purchase receipt so how can I check whether the 7800N is still under warranty? I can access it but its obviously reporting the DSL is down. What other checks can I do to diagnose whether the Billion is faulty or not please?
Thanks in advance.

Re: No DSL and no internet light
It will be Monday before billion_fan picks up on this and I doubt if factory resetting it via the pin hole on the back would bring it back up.
At the back of the little handbook that comes with the 7800N there is a phone number you can ring for tech support, but not sure if they work Saturdays.
As for checking date of purchase, can you remember how and where you bought it - check credit card receipts/bank statements ?
There is a 2 year warranty on the 7800N.

Re: No DSL and no internet light
I sorted it by upgrading the firmware to 1.06h and re-entering all the settings again. Now back up and running.
