8800NL - Port forwarding stops working after a while

Post by JackPGreen »

Bit of a weird problem

Have an 8800NL running the latest firmware on a VDSL connection.

Port forwarding is setup.

After the connection has been running for a while, sometimes the port forwarding stops working.

Disconnecting & reconnecting the connection appears to resolve this - in the short term.

I've tried deleting & recreating the virtual servers which again resolved it - temporarily!

Any ideas?

2.32e.dh4 can be found on the link below

With this firmware, upgrade your device and make sure you reset the device back to factory default settings once the firmware has been upgraded, do not restore settings from previous builds.

Now using this firmware and the issue has re-occurred - although it's only happened once since then which is at least less frequent.

I'm having the same issue and it's only just started. All. My devices, NAS, alarm and CCTV are not being reached from the outside until I reboot. I've upgraded the firmware as above and yet less than 24 hours later its happening again.

Arghhhhhhh

Thanks Billion_fan

I need a solution to this or its off for a new router, luckily I can still remotely reboot the router and then connect but far from ideal.
